About Us
PedroFono is a small Spanish company specializing in the repair and restoration of gramophones, phonographs, and organettes, as well as the manufacture of parts for repair that are seldom found from other suppliers.
We have over 20 years of experience. Each restoration is photographically documented step by step, and is done according to the client's criteria to adapt to their tastes and budget.
Most of the pieces for sale are hand made so they can be modified on request to suit the client's needs. If you don't find what you are looking for, write to us and we will do our best to find or reproduce it.

We have clients all over the world, and have a careful process of packing and shipping to avoid damage during transportation.
Custom made parts
If necessary, we can reproduce virtually any part that is damaged. To ensure the perfect fit and operation, it will sometimes be necessary to send all the machinery and it will be returned with the installed part.

The piece was nickel-plated like the original and slightly aged to blend with the rest of the phonograph. -
Broken case of a Zonophone Concert V reproducer with all the parts missing. -
A piece in brass was fitted and machined exactly like the original. -
The diaphragm was reproduced in mica as well as the seals and retaining rings. -
The stylet, crossbow and fastening screws were replicated according to the original. -
Finished reproducer. The pieces were nickel-plated and aged to blend with the original casing.
Restorations
Thanks to more than 20 years of experience, we manage to restore machines that few dare to venture with.
The result are pieces with a special charisma that show again all their beauty without hiding their history.
With each machine we deliver a dossier of the history of the model and its restoration process as well as the parts that, being too damaged, needed to be replaced or reproduced.

This Pathé Coquet of 1904 found in La Rioja had many damages due to humidity and woodworm. Also several pieces were damaged or missing. -
Several pieces of the carpentry turned to dust just touching them. -
After the treatment to eliminate the woodworm, the recoverable pieces were stabilized and replaced those that were impossible to restore. -
All the machinery was blocked by rust. After a patient treatment during several days, it was completely dismantled in order to proceed with its restoration. -
It was necessary to make new parts: Gears, regulator springs, reproducer carrier tube, reproducer collar, half nut, etc. -
All the pieces were deoxidized and polished. The rods had to be replaced due to the deep corrosion they presented. -
It was necessary to rebuild part of the speed regulator mechanism and disassemble, grease and review all the mechanics to make it work perfectly. -
All parts are tested to ensure perfect geometry and operation of the phonograph. -
First generation Pathé Coquet finished.
